Antonio Carlos Vidigal has a Degree in Business Administration from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation. He has attended graduate courses and seminars at Stanford University and Hartford Graduate Institute (USA), Insead (France), the London Business School (UK) and IMD (Switzerland).
He is a member of the Family Firm Institute (USA) and the Family Business Network (Europe), both of which are institutions specializing in research and support for family-owned enterprises.
He has published three books portraying Brazilian business:
He has lectured on family businesses at the European Family Office Conference, the Pontifical Catholic University and the Federation of Industries, in Rio de Janeiro, the University of São Paulo, and the Dom Cabral Foundation in Belo Horizonte, as well as a number of professional associations.
In April 2000, he was awarded a Doctorate in Business Administration from Business School Lausanne in Switzerland. The topic of his doctoral dissertation was "The Survival of the Family Firm".
